Ah, I love being productive at the beginning of a brand-New Year. Don’t you just love the vibe of crossing fresh stuff off your lists. Personally, the fresh start, new slate challenge, never gets stale for me. It’s like a new opportunity to try out new and different ways to achieve what you want.
But the challenge is in ensuring that you’re able to stay consistent in meeting your goals beyond the “New Year mood” and throughout the year – especially if you’re the type of person who tends to easily lose your confidence when things don’t go for you as planned.
I mean – during the course of the year, something unexpected will happen…you may experience a major setback, things may not work out for you as envisaged, and you may hit a brick wall. So many things may hit you and you may even consider giving up. And this is not going to be unique to you alone. So many people are starting the year with high hopes to write and publish their book, better their relationships, create more time for themselves, make more money, get leaner and fitter, have a more remarkable life, start or grow a business, or get healthier.
For most people, their faith and confidence will end up being broken by “failures” or unforeseen “circumstances” and they’d probably wind up forfeiting their desires on a “lesser” but “comfortable” route.
Here’s the thing.
Instead of finding the help and support they need to go through their challenges, they abandon their desires, and therefore shrink their confidence and belief in themselves. (Oh yes, I’m talking to you). And when you lose confidence, your vision of your future shrinks.
You know what I mean? If you tend to lose your confidence easily when things don’t go as planned, this is a must watch OtaoseseTalks episode.
You’ll learn a simple process to help you build your confidence and stay focused on what you’re trying to do this year and get it done – even during difficult times.
No matter what, don’t make the same sad mistakes from your past over and over, defeated by your inability to accomplish the goals you set out to accomplish because of low self-confidence and self-doubt.
Watch this episode now and have a strong start to your new year.
I would love to hear from you now. Let me know in the comments below:
- What’s one way you would actually intentionally and deliberately commit to your goals this year? How would you make sure that you set aside time for each of them in order to meet up with deadlines and keep making progress?
- What’s one goal you’re going to start working on right away?
Please feel free to be as detailed as possible, your comments could motivate someone else to make a big leap.
A thousand times through, thank you for sharing your voice and making this work matter.
With lots of love from me to you,
